Captain Merritt White is a fully insured, US Coast Guard licensed fishing guide. He has been running guided fly and light tackle spin trips out of Key West, Florida and Eastern Long Island, New York for over ten years.
During the Spring months, Captain White guides out of Key West, FL, one of the finest saltwater fly and light tackle fishing destinations in the world. Key West provides the perfect backdrop for pursuing flats species such as bonefish, permit and tarpon. In the summer, Merritt travels North to Eastern Long Island, NY where he plies the shallow waters of Shinnecock, Peconic and Gardner's Bay(s) in search of bluefish and striped bass. For the Fall migration Captain White moves his operation to Montauk, NY where he and his clients seek out the fabled Northeast "grand slam" of bluefish, false albacore and striped bass.Merritt is a patient, fun loving guide who is eager to share his fishing knowledge and experience with novice and expert anglers alike!
